Honey bees — wild and domestic — perform about 80 percent of all pollination worldwide. A single bee colony can pollinate 300 million flowers each day. “ Go For It “ 2nd single out now available on all platforms. I wrote this song in 2013 in memory of my hero ‘ Fred Bee (my Dad)
“ Go For It “ my son ‘ was one of his many motivational positive sayings. An extraordinary man born in the east end of London in 1920 his mother died at the age of three, his stepmother died a few years later. Fred was put into Dr Bernardo’s home, beat polio by throwing himself out of bed to make himself walk. He survived WW2 by falling overboard putting the anchor into Portsmouth Harbour as his boat was later torpedoed. He was the only man in his street to own a car in the 1950’s. Fred married my wonderful Mum had six children, built a business, drove an Aston Martin DB5 convertible (one of only 37 made) & helped many many people without bragging & inspired many more to go on and achieve their goals. He was very kind but also very hard when needed and would never suffer fools. He taught me so much that helped and inspired me to go on do so many crazy and amazing things myself. Sadly he suffered from Parkinson’s in his later years, but still had the spark of life until he passed at the great old age of 92.I wrote the song to help myself with the grief of his passing & also to hopefully pass on some of his positive words that may help more people to “ Don’t Talk about it Do it ! Go for it , Go for it, Go for it my son ! “
